For profit business entities, governmental entities,or educational institutions, you must purchase a valid end-user license in order to use the software.
Maintenance of Copyright Notices.
You must not remove or alter any copyright notices on all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT.
Limitations on Reverse Engineering, Decompilation, and Disassembly.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this limitation.
Support Services.
Lavasoft may provide you with support services related to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT ("Support Services").
Use of Support Services is governed by the Lavasoft policies and programs described in the user manual,
in "online" documentation, and/or in other Lavasoft-provided materials. Any supplemental software code provided to you as part of the Support Services shall be considered part of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and subject to the terms and conditions of this EULA. With respect to technical information you provide to Lavasoft as part of the Support Services, Lavasoft may use such information for its business purposes, including for product support and development. Lavasoft will not utilize such technical information in a form that personally identifies you.
Termination.
Your rights under this EULA terminate upon the termination of your Lavasoft Ad-aware EULA. Without prejudice to any other rights, Lavasoft may terminate this EULA if you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this EULA. In such event, you must destroy all copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT and all of its component parts.
NO WARRANTIES.
Lavasoft expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE PRODUCT. THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT AND ANY RELATED DOCUMENTATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. THE ENTIRE RISK ARISING OUT OF USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT
REMAINS WITH YOU.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.
In no event shall Lavasoft or its suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inability to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, even if Lavasoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
THIRD PARTY APPLICATIONS
LavaSoft has provided you the end user with a powerful utility that will detect and
remove files from your system. We have also provided you with the means
to review, research, backup, exclude, and/or ignore any component or
components found by Ad-Aware. It is therefore important for you the user
to understand and abide by the EULA agreements provided by the
developers of any applications on your computer, which may be affected
by the removal of any portion of their software.
LavaSoft does not condone, support or endorse the use of any host application
after the targeted components that were bundled with said application
are removed. We also hold that to do so may not only be a violation of
the applicable EULA, it could be considered illegal and or unethical. As
a result, we strongly recommend that you uninstall these programs, as
this may be a condition of their continued use.
